The priorities of life!

It has been many months now, since I have sat down to share my thoughts. I have realized life has priorities- other than sharing my innermost thoughts with the world. Those priorities include snuggling, holding, kissing, feeding, bathing, loving... and so many wonderful other things! It's hard to believe that our little boy is 5 1/2 months old now- and growing so quickly! He can roll over (now and then... it's not an all the time event yet) and almost sit up. (He tends to tip to one side or the other.) But he can also smile- a smile that can light up any room! He loves to sing, and especally loves to play with his daddy. He has a few cousins nearby, and he certainly loves the time he gets to spend with them- they can make him laugh like no one else can!!

It seems as if life has come to a stand still for me, and I don't want to miss a single moment. I constantly want to take pictures- but I want him to recognize his mommy's face... not a camera!

the more I have thought about it, the more certain I am. I know God hears and answers prayers. He knows us individually. The answers we receive may not be what we are looking or hoping for... but are truly the things God knows we need. My philosophy this week has suddenly become "Life happens. If it doesn't kill me, it will make me stronger."

I heard once "God won't gove you trials you can't handle." I have to disagree with that statement. I believe "God won't give you trials you can't handle without His help." And to share a quote from a wonderful man, Art Berg: "Some miracles just take time. The impossible just takes a little longer."

And daily I take baby steps forward as a mother...
